My health for life will remain to operate and remind the community and individuals of the importance of good health, whilst the operation of the program will slightly change due to the current situation of COVID-19, it will however will still uphold the commitment to helping Queenslanders live well.
My health for life has implemented the following changes:
All staff, including the call centre, are now working remotely from home.
Working with our providers and facilitators to transition existing group participants to either (a) continuing with their health coach online using Zoom, or (b) moving to telephone health coaching.
New participants (yes, we are still enrolling people daily) are also offered the choice of video conferencing or telephone coaching.
Workplace programs continue to operate with the team currently supporting organisations to transition to telephone coaching or video conferencing in line with the process offered to community groups. These organisations are keen to ensure their staff continue to be supported at this time.
Online health checks continue to operate as normal and can be access on the My health for lifewebsite.
