Are the proposed priority populations and settings appropriate and relevant?
Do you support the proposed goals and targets set for 2026 and 2030?
Do you support the proposed strategic directions and their associated priority actions?
Is the overall structure of the draft STI plan appropriate and easy to follow?
Is anything missing? Do you have any other comments?
In providing your feedback, please note the following will occur before the draft STI Plan is finalised:
Inclusion of a snapshot analysis to support the epidemiology figures on pages 9–11 (draft Plan currently includes the figures only)
Inclusion of a Minister’s statement on page 2
A professional graphic design process will be undertaken to produce a final product.
Please also note that the draft Queensland STI Plan 2030 covers the period 2024 to 2030. There is a gap from the end of the previous action plan which ended in 2022, as we awaited the release of the Fifth National STI Strategy.
Once feedback from stakeholders has been considered and incorporated as appropriate, the STI Plan will be finalised and pass through departmental channels for endorsement and approval.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a meeting to discuss your feedback, please email BBVCDU@health.qld.gov.au.
Please return your feedback on the draft Queensland STI Plan 2030 by COB Friday 6 December 2024.
