Adults (18+) who require a brief intervention to support de-escalation of their mental health concern and are safe and suitable to attend a community-based support service. This service can be used as a safe alternative to hospital presentations when not in crisis.
After Hours Safe Space provides much needed support for adults experiencing distress after hours. A time when their usual supports and clinicians may not be available and when they would usually look to the emergency department for support. This service is provided in a friendly place, with easy access to help in an informal, café style environment. Lived experience workers and clinicians are available so people can feel supported and safe while they manage their mental health during such challenging times and build on their wellbeing skills.
