A new Medicare Mental Health Centre is opening soon on the northern Gold Coast. The centre will be located at 29 Dixon Road, Pimpama. It has been commissioned by Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) and will be operated by Open Minds as the service provider. Final fit-out and commissioning activities are still underway in readiness for an upcoming official opening. In the interim, members of the local community can access important mental health services at temporary Community Access Points from Monday 6 July.
Ahead of a new Medicare Mental Health Centre opening at Pimpama on the northern Gold Coast, members of the public can visit Community Access Points locally and connect in with relevant local mental health services.
Both immediate help and non-urgent assistance is available if you, or a person you know or care about, needs it now. Interim Community Access Points are just one of several options to consider, depending on support and services that are needed.
If you need immediate help for yourself or someone who you know is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero (000). Wider help is available from suicide support services locally on the Gold Coast.
