An innovative digital mental health support delivered directly to people via a channel of their choice (Text, video, or audio) in the community, with low to moderate mental health needs who have been affected by the major storms and flood.
Virtual Psychologist offers innovative digital mental health support, providing self-management tools, psychotherapeutic interventions, low-level support, and referrals. Services are designed to assist community members with low to moderate mental health needs, especially those impacted by the major storms and floods of December 2023 and January 2024. This innovative service has been designed to cater to the mental well-being needs of Gold Coast schools, clubs, workplaces, and communities that have been affected by the recent flooding events and delivered directly to people via a channel of their choice (Text, video, or audio).

Online video, audio, and SMS based psychological interventions, including brief interventions, therapy and counselling
Virtual – telehealth and Phone support including video, audio, and SMS communication.

The Psychological Services in Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH) program is a low to moderate intensity service that offers structured psychological therapies that support people with mental health needs living in residential aged care.
The Psychological Services in Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH) program offers structured psychological therapies that support people with mental health needs living in residential aged care. The service aims to support residents experiencing mild depression or anxiety and those having trouble adjusting to changes or coping with loss. The service can also support people experiencing dual diagnosis of mental health and dementia or neurocognitive disorder (including brain injury/developmental disability) where behaviours are identified as mental health related.
Sessions may be focused on transitions into aged care, engagement and well-being and managing identified mental health conditions.

A mental health coaching program, to provide accessible, quality structured psychological therapy services. People can access six coaching sessions delivered over the phone, via Skype or in person by trained mental health coaches.
NewAccess is a mental health coaching program with accessible, quality structured psychological therapy services. People, over the age of 16, can access six coaching sessions delivered by trained mental health coaches over the phone, via Skype or in person.
The program uses low-intensity psychological therapy and aims to help people break the cycle of negative or unhelpful thoughts.
Developed by Beyond Blue and delivered by Primary and Community Care Services (PCCS), NewAccess provides support from a coach, who will assess the person’s needs, then work with them in setting practical, effective strategies to help get back on track.
