Eating Disorder Core Skills: eLearning for GPs is comprehensive foundational eating disorder training developed specifically for GPs. The training provides GPs with the key information needed to provide best practice care for patients with eating disorders.
The training will equip GPs with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, identify and assess eating disorders, provide medical treatment, lead the multidisciplinary team, manage MBS items and provide ongoing recovery support.

Eating Disorder Core Skills: eLearning for GPs is accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as a CPD Accredited Activity (40 points), the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC) as Mental Health CPD and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) under the Professional Development Program.
Eating Disorder Core Skills: eLearning for GPs is available free of charge to all NEDC members (membership is free).
Delivered 100% online and free to complete, the Foundations of Chronic Disease course is aimed at a range of health professionals working within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health, or have Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients. The course aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to provide foundation chronic disease education, understand the burden of chronic disease and the impact on Australia, and identify chronic disease models and the tools and resources used in managing chronic conditions in the primary healthcare arena. It also allows the student to build and embed foundational knowledge to allow advancement to further learning workshops.

This module is designed to help you adapt your clinical communication skills to meet the needs of all parents, whether they are ready to vaccinate, have questions or intend to decline vaccination altogether. It teaches you how to use the SKAI system and equips you with strategies to assist immunisation consultations. We anticipate it will take approximately 90 minutes to complete this module.
