headspace is an accessible ‘one-stop-shop’ for young people that supports early intervention with emerging mental health needs surrounding mental and physical health, work/study support and alcohol and other drug issues.
For young people aged between 12 and 25 which supports early intervention services for young people with emerging mental health needs. The service offers assistance in promoting wellbeing: mental health, physical health, work/study support and alcohol and other drug services.

The Lighthouse program provides trauma informed, recovery- orientated clinical care coordination and specialised treatment.
The Lighthouse program provides trauma informed, recovery-orientated clinical care coordination and specialised treatment services for young people aged 12-18 years with severe and/or complex mental health needs. Lighthouse aims to provide timely access and effective, safe and appropriate care for adolescents who are experiencing the impacts of adverse childhood experiences in their lives.
The service supports young people, and their loved ones, carers or support people to learn skills around the management of symptoms and promote hope in healing so that the young person can fulfill their potential. Priority will be given to those experiencing trauma symptoms which are currently impacting on any areas of their lives.

A multidisciplinary service of consultant psychiatrists, peer workers and clinicians to support young people aged 12-25 at risk of or experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The Early Psychosis team is equipped to intervene early to improve the lives of young people, and their families, impacted by psychosis.

The Community Pathway Connector is a service which provides a culturally safe connection point and referral service for people who identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person (or their family members/spouse/carer).

Supporting Minds (LGBTIQAP+) is a service for people aged between 12 and 65 who identify with the LGBTIQAP+ community and/or are questioning sexuality or gender.
Short-term clinical and non-clinical individual and/or group based psychological support to increase mental health and wellbeing, access a suite of interventions tailored to mental health needs, enhance relationships and connection to community, and provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
Moderate Intensity Service
Up to three months of one-on-one structured psychological therapy using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Supportive psychotherapy, Interpersonal psychotherapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Community Pathway Connector is a program focused on connecting culturally and linguistically diverse people to community and appropriate support, services and activities.
A soft entry point in a community setting, Community Pathway Connector provides a safe connection point to link people to, and navigate, community services whilst advocating for the needs of people living on the Gold Coast from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.

Supporting Minds is a mental health service that provides up to three months of structured psychological (clinical) supports and group-based support.
Short-term clinical and non-clinical, individual and/or group based psychological support. Situational factors include significant life transitions, trauma, experiencing harm from others, interpersonal or social difficulties, ability to or difficulty having basic physical, emotional, environmental, or material needs met, and legal issues.

Youth Check is a free health check service for young people aged 12 to 25 who are at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness in the Gold Coast region. A friendly, experienced Registered Nurse will provide physical, mental, and sexual health care. It’s all about the client: their choices, their comfort, and their privacy. Youth Check will work with clients respectfully and make sure they feel safe and heard every step of the way.

Youth Check are based in places that are youth-friendly and easy to get to. Clients don’t need to be registered with headspace to attend, and they can just drop in or organise an outreach appointment.
Youth Check is designed to be easy to access, you don’t need a GP or provider referral.
