Gold Coast Primary Health Network commissions a range of primary care and mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services to meet the diverse and growing needs of the Gold Coast region. Our commissioned services are available at no cost to patients. View the full list of funded services by clicking on the links below.
Short to medium term treatment and support to reduce problematic substance use via access to all Lives Lived Well programs, including family support and therapy, dual diagnosis and complex care, residential rehabilitation and transitional housing support.
The professional team can help you to break the cycle of problematic alcohol or drugs, regain control of your life and reach your potential to enjoy a full and rewarding life.
We provide:
Free, flexible one-on-one counselling and group sessions are available through our range of service hubs located across Queensland and regional NSW.
We work with you to identify if you have a problem with drugs or alcohol, its extent and what’s behind it. We then support you and give you the tools to manage, reduce or stop your alcohol or drug misuse.
Worried about a family member or friend who is misusing drugs or alcohol? We can provide you with support so that you feel better placed to cope and support your loved one. Sometimes just talking to someone who doesn’t know the person, can help.

Supporting Minds is a mental health service that provides up to three months of moderate intensity structured psychological (clinical) supports and group-based (clinical and non-clinical) support.
Supporting Minds (LGBTIQAP+) is a service for people aged between 12 and 65 who identify with the LGBTIQAP+ community and/or are questioning sexuality or gender.

The Community Pathway Connector is a service which provides a culturally safe connection point and referral service for people who have specific culturally and linguistically diverse needs.
The CURA Community Pathway Connector is a culturally safe connection point and referral service to assist people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, regardless of birthplace or permanent residency and visa status. It provides 0ne-on-one support to navigate the services system, working with interpreters and linking with cultural awareness education, as needed.

An innovative digital mental health support delivered directly to people via a channel of their choice (Text, video, or audio) in the community, with low to moderate mental health needs who have been affected by the major storms and flood.
Virtual Psychologist offers innovative digital mental health support, providing self-management tools, psychotherapeutic interventions, low-level support, and referrals. Services are designed to assist community members with low to moderate mental health needs, especially those impacted by the major storms and floods of December 2023 and January 2024. This innovative service has been designed to cater to the mental well-being needs of Gold Coast schools, clubs, workplaces, and communities that have been affected by the recent flooding events and delivered directly to people via a channel of their choice (Text, video, or audio).
Low to moderate intensity service
Online video, audio, and SMS based psychological interventions, including brief interventions, therapy and counselling
Virtual – telehealth and Phone support including video, audio, and SMS communication.

The Way Back Support Service (TWBSS) Out of Hospital (OOH) pathway is a low to high intensity non-clinical psychosocial support and transition service for people experiencing suicidality and have presented to either a General Practitioner (GP), Head to Health (H2H) clinician or Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS).
Personalised non-clinical psychosocial support for up to three months. This service supports people to stay safe, keep connected with others, and access health and community services as part of their recovery.
Suicide Prevention
A Support Facilitator contacts the person within one business day of receiving their referral and tailors a program for up to three months which includes building a personalised safety plan and linking them to health and community services and clinical care if needed. This program sits within the suite of Wesley Mission Queensland services and can link into psychological supports if required.
People residing in Gold Coast aged 16 years and older that have presented to a General Practice, Head to Health phone line or Aboriginal Medical Service.
